NOS KUWAHARA Black Safety Hook

 For 1" (compatible inner diameter 18.5mm and above) 

The product was used in the KUWAHARA SUPER Competition between 1980 and the 1990s. 

This is an original design hook made for the COMPE fork crown, which does not have a hole.

It prevents the tire from getting caught and locking up if the arch wire (straddle wire) becomes dislodged or breaks while riding.
