With a focus on speed, the new rim profiles of the Dura Ace WH-9000 wheels yield a substantial reduction in weight while maintaining the aerodynamic shape of the rim and its race-tested advantages (less subject to crosswinds and enhanced precise steering). With a rim height of 35mm the Dura Ace wheels convince with increased acceleration characteristics while providing a well balanced aerodynamic to rigidity ratio.

A 16 spoke front wheel with an oversized 15mm aluminum axle helps counter the flex that occurs in contemporary carbon fork designs. The 21 spoke rear wheel is centered on a lighter weight titanium freehub body. The WH-9000 series makes use of the most advanced rim designs and materials like super-light carbon fiber composites.

Shimano quality proven angular contact bearings and oversize 7075 alloy axles. Digital cone-bearing adjustment for better rotation performance. The result is a striking tubular wheel set that combines a lightweight design with an exceptional rigidity.
